READ: Content Contributor Guidelines
Our Approach to Content
The READ Literacy Series is a multi-dimensional resource designed to serve all stakeholders in education. Our content is primarily driven by a dedicated team of effective communicators and experienced teachers who work directly with students. We also actively collaborate with creative and content syndicates globally.
We occasionally publish spontaneous articles that are original, highly engaging, and grounded in specialised knowledge.
Considering a Contribution?
Before submitting, we strongly encourage you to review the READ Literacy Series thoroughly to understand our tone and appeal. When brainstorming your idea, ask yourself:
- Is my idea exciting, dynamic, and entertaining?
- Can I write it with a multi-dimensional appeal that serves our K-12/Year 13 audience?
- What would I have loved to read when I was that age?
If your answer to these questions is a resounding YES, we welcome your submission!
General Submission Guidelines

Learners’/Leaders’ READ: Short Story Brief
We seek engaging fiction that captivates young readers and leaders.

Length |
Between 750 and 1,000 words maximum (designed to fill two double-page spreads). |

Series |
A story series must be fascinating to maintain interest across multiple issues. Each part must adhere to the 750-1,000-word limit. |

Pacing |
Each part must be a satisfying read on its own, with the first part ending in a compelling way that leaves the reader wanting more. |
|
Compensation |
A fee of AED 150/- is offered per short story (or per part for story series), payable upon publication. |
|
Illustration |
All illustrations and visual designs will be provided by READ. |
READ: Feature Article Brief
We are looking for feature articles that are highly original in both presentation and content.

A feature is likely of interest only if it is highly original in both presentation and content. If you have a truly unique concept, please contact the editor of READ via email to discuss the idea before submission. |

If your feature is accepted for publication, a fee of AED 150/- will be payable upon publication. |
